Uncanny Love – An AI-Driven Improvisation On Human-MachineBonds
Concert by the students of Open Creation course (class of Andrea Neumann) at the Hochschule für Musik Basel FHNW / Musik-Akademie Basel.
Free admission
Students of Open Creation course (class of Andrea Neumann) at the Hochschule für Musik Basel FHNW / Musik-Akademie Basel present their projects - acoustic, visual, performative and intermedial - that cannot be assigned to just one discipline.
Uncanny Love is a state of affairs. A live improvisation between 10 musicians and an AI, it explores the limits and potential of a collaboration that hints at dominance yet voluptuously draws us in. A game, but a serious one, taking over Tinguely’s legacy and venturing into a new creative path, whose outcome, as with the guided improvisation, we do not know.
