JMO’s music revives the art – and above all the magic – of storytelling. The crystal-clear sound of the kora and the incisive, wistful voice of Moussa Cissokho from Senegal meet the sonorous, warm tones of Jan Galega Brönnimann’s bass clarinet. Sensitive percussionist Omri Hason rounds off this musical treasure with his subtle rhythmic beats. The three musicians oscillate between fragile moments, wistful melodies and rhythmically exciting highlights.
