Modal Afro-Indo modulations and shadowy cinematic improvisations.

With his drive and his infallible flair for sound and drama, South African drummer Kesivan Naidoo channels the energy of his audience and sometimes even turns the whole universe on its head. Together with saxophonist Charley Rose (France), guitarist Fabio Gouvêa (Brazil), pianist Yuri Storione (Italy) and bassist Joan Codina (Brazil) , he is now following on from his album Brotherhood (2014). With his new “Basel” Brotherhood, Naidoo showcases the voices of each of his fellow musicians within the framework of ever-intensifying harmonies and rhythms.
